Medical Advertising Policy
Japan Doctor policy on medical advertising, outcome claims, doctor credentials, patient cases, and service boundaries.
Principles
Site content explains services and care flow. It does not guarantee outcomes, guarantee prescriptions, or use exaggerated, superiority, absolute, or misleading claims.
Doctors and credentials
Doctor names, photos, specialties, licenses, and affiliated institutions are published only after authorization and verification. Unverified doctors are not promoted by personal name.
Cases, testimonials, and images
Testimonials, cases, certificate samples, and photos must be anonymized and must not imply general outcomes. Before-after claims, testimonials, rankings, recommendations, and discount-driven claims require medical advertising review.
Telemedicine boundaries
Doctors decide whether a case is suitable for online care. Cases requiring examination, imaging, lab tests, injections, surgery, hospitalization, or emergency care should be handled offline.
This public notice is prepared for launch. Company registration details, responsible person, office address, medical institution name, doctor list, and contact information must be finalized by the operating entity.
