Rules for using Japan Doctor online consultation, prescription coordination, delivery, and documentation support.
Nature of service
Japan Doctor provides multilingual intake, appointment coordination, prescription suitability support, medicine delivery coordination, English medical certificates, and referral communication. Diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, and referrals are decided independently by qualified doctors.
This service does not replace local emergency care. Chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, loss of consciousness, major injury, stroke signs, or anaphylaxis require immediate local emergency care.
Booking and payment
After users submit symptoms, location, preferred language, and contact details, the team checks whether the request is suitable for a remote workflow. Fees, payment methods, booking times, and service scope follow the booking confirmation or written support notice.
Prescription and delivery limits
Prescriptions and delivery depend on doctor assessment, medicine category, Japanese rules, destination rules, customs, and logistics. Controlled medicines, medicines requiring in-person examination, and cases requiring tests or imaging may not be handled remotely.
Cancellation, refunds, and SLA
Before a doctor consultation starts, user cancellation may be refunded subject to payment-channel rules and coordination costs already incurred. After doctor assessment, prescription, document preparation, or pharmacy dispensing, related service fees are generally non-refundable.
Requests are usually handled as soon as practical during working hours. Time zones, nights, holidays, pharmacy operations, and logistics can affect timing. This service does not promise emergency-level response.
